SUMMER LANE

What is your current Work in Progress?
My current WIP is State of Vengeance, the sixth installment in The Collapse Series. It releases June 26th, 2015 – I’m really excited about this one. Of course, I say that about all of my novels, but it’s true! Each book brings in a new element that I haven’t used before, and that makes each new novel an adventure to me!

If you could choose any actress to play Elle, who would it be?
That is a tough question. I have to say that I can see Chloe Grace Moretz pulling off the role – tough city girl meets apocalypse. I think she could do it very well. She’s an amazing actress.

What’s your favorite post-apocalyptic movie or TV show of the moment?
My favorite post-apocalyptic television show is The Walking Dead – the scripts are great and the acting is fantastic. Scott Gimple and Robert Kirkman are incredibly talented storytellers.

My favorite movies are the Resident Evil films – I know they’re not brand new, but I’ve only just discovered them, and they’re pretty awesome. I love a tough female heroine who can hold her own!
